After the great launch night on Monday the 8th at Grumpy’s Green bar in Fitzroy, Melbourne, flanked by live music and readings, Crime Factory Publications is proud to make our new book, Hard Labour, available to the general public.

You can get the thing in a hard copy to go on your bookshelf right HERE (which is really the best way to appreciate Erik Lundy’s wonderful art) or download it for one of  those (almost certainly enchanted) Kindle devices HERE.

“But why buy this book when I could spend my time doing things that are not as cool?” you ask, theoretical internet person? Well, for starters, this one is STACKED with talent. Hard crime fiction from the land of convicts with seventeen dark criminal tales, including Garry Disher’s first ever Wyatt story (Wyatt is essentially the Australian Parker, having appeared in a number of great books over the years), unpublished for over a decade.

There’s new fiction from all-stars like Peter Corris, Leigh Redhead, David Whish-Wilson, Adrian McKinty, Angela Savage and Helen Fitzgerald. With the book rounded out by a who’s who of upcoming talent in Australian crime  including Greig Johnstone, JJ DeCeglie, Deborah Sheldon, Andrew Prentice, Finbarr McCarthy, Andrez Bergen, Amanda Wrangles, Cameron Ashley, Andrew Nette and Liam José.

Statistically, you are a better person if you read this book.
