Submissions CLOSED for Pink Factory | The Crime Factory

10/08/2013 By Cameron Ashley

UPDATE: ALL SUBMISSIONS FOR PINK FACTORY ARE NOW CLOSED.

I was thinking about placing some elaborate preamble here about dirty minds and the undeniably lurid and frequently filthy streak that has historically run through much of what we can, I’m sure, loosely agree to call ‘Pulp.’ Instead, like a grossly modern and un-cinematic piece of gonzo porn, I’ll just cut right to it:

Following on from 2010′S KUNG-FU FACTORY and last year’s HORROR FACTORY, our third special edition will be titled PINK FACTORY.

It is our erotica/sex/smut issue. Submissions are now open to any and all dirty-minded.

WHAT DO WE WANT?

Like all regular CRIME FACTORY issues, we are seeking fiction (1,000-3,000 words — if you have more or less words, please talk to us prior to submitting) and non-fiction (1,000-5,000 words). Want to talk about your favourite gay biker pulp? Go for it. Want to interview Christy Canyon? Please do. Want to critique the entire run of OMAHA THE CAT DANCER? Be our guest. Feel the need to compare and contrast all those American gas station boner pills? Better you than me, but fine. Want to rate the world’s best and worst sex districts? What a great idea. Gay/Straight/Transgender? All encouraged. But anything rapey or misogynistic should not submit. However, weirdness, uniqueness and creativity are, as always, looked upon favourably. The possible obscurity of your chosen subject is no barrier.

HOW TO GET A PIECE OF THIS SWEET, SWEET ACTION?

Email it on through to pinkfactoryzine at gmail dot com for consideration. Email any questions on through to that address too.

Copyright is yours, just let us have your piece for six months post-publication before you trot it off to some other sweaty editor. We aren’t paying for this one, unfortunately. If we print this up the way we’d like to, our overhead will be pretty large.

You have until October 31st, 2013 to send your filth through to us, unless a personal extension is arranged. The deadline for non-fiction, art and LGBTI fiction has been extended to November 30th.

The issue itself will launch February 14th, 2014. Yep, Happy Valentine’s Day to you.
